Yep, I'm back. I took this past week off from all things internet to hang out with my oldest before she left to her fathers for the summer. No
mommys group, no
blogging, no
sewing. Nothing but
playtime for the girls and I. She's been flying to WA for the past 9 years now, staying there every summer and winter break. Shouldnt I be used to it now? I bawl like an infant every time I put her on that plane.
Oh and for those of you that were left scratching your heads at what the
SWS pic was...it was a pail of shells my daughter collected at the beach. We had a great time and the weather was perfect!
I'll share more later on our adventures ;) In the meantime here is my randomness for the day....

At my husband's last duty station the soldiers who were in trouble with the post commander had to stand by the road with similar signs, and in full uniform. It's always funny to see, hopefully this kid learned his lesson too!

Wow, I think more moms need to do this to their teens, when they think there big and bad enough to steal and sell drugs. Also I saw your comment on my blog. Im sure I will miss the down time when I get older.
Oh my gosh, that's definitely a case of tough love! Hopefully that boy will listen, because mom DOES know best!
I love the idea of that but I'm not sure how keen I am on public humiliation for punishment. Funny never the less.

That is absolutely hilarious! How mortifying. If I were the Mom I'd probably be watching to make sure he fulfilled his punishment from somewhere out of sight!
I hope your daughter has a good time in Washington! That's where I'm at and after last winter she'll at least get to enjoy some sunshine as opposed to foot upon foot of snow!
