Our plans were to go to the zoo with friends. B decided otherwise. Not that I can blame her for waking up 15 times last night, thunderstorms did that to me as a child too.
7 am guess who came bouncing into the bedroom as chipper as can be? Not mommy. I had to peel my dead, drained body from underneath the sheets.
That's when I made the executive decision to stay home. No way was this mama carting 2 high strung little ones and a bunch of toddler paraphernalia all over Gods creation. Now I just had to come up with a diversion, a.k.a. Plan B, to avoid toddler meltdown. All I needed to do was set up the swimming pool out back! I'm a genius. Turns out, we had a great day despite lack of sleep all around.
So let me share with you our fun in the sun. Please excuse the ungroomed backyard as my live in landscaper went out of town ;)

I'm glad they had fun anyway. I'm hoping to bring my daughter to the zoo for the 1st time soon.
