Mondays Randomness -What a NUT!

These pic come to me by way of Alaska. A very dear friend of mine has a daughter the exact same age as my B. I met them here in VA at a park playdate our mommies group was having. The girls were about 9 months old and we became fast friends.
Since, she has moved on to Alaska but we keep in touch often. We swap toddler stories, birthday pics and the wonderful occasion when our children learn something new...a first...like opening a jar!

Mondays Randomness -WANTED! Butter and Garlic Salt

Ok its not really mine. Wouldnt it be tasty with some garlic and butter tho? MMMmmMM.
The girls and I took a trip to the Virginia Living Museum yesterday, he? was part of the aquatic exhibit. This picture does not do this guy justice. He is longer than my whole arm! Pretty crazy huh?

Mondays Randomness - Mama Isn't Playin Around

Yep, I'm back. I took this past week off from all things internet to hang out with my oldest before she left to her fathers for the summer. No mommys group, no blogging, no sewing. Nothing but playtime for the girls and I. She's been flying to WA for the past 9 years now, staying there every summer and winter break. Shouldnt I be used to it now? I bawl like an infant every time I put her on that plane.
Oh and for those of you that were left scratching your heads at what the SWS pic was...it was a pail of shells my daughter collected at the beach. We had a great time and the weather was perfect!
I'll share more later on our adventures ;) In the meantime here is my randomness for the day....

Mondays Randomness - 80's Flashback

My random thing for the day is this beautiful photograph.

You laugh! I hear you laughing! Well I found it while cleaning out my hard drive today, similar to spring cleaning out your closet I guess. Its a random photo of a random sign in a random place in Seattle (honestly no clue it was forever ago) my hometown. Isn't it great?!
Brings back those memories from the 80's doesn't it? High school, (yes I'm dating myself here lol) feathered hair with huge bangs, loud makeup, off the shoulder shirts and leg warmers, 80's hair bands, M.C. Hammer and the hammer pants, Michael Jackson and Madonna. Yes I am a child of the 80's. Thank goodness times have changed but OH was it ever a blast!
