So my guess is kite string. Because it looks like a spool/cone of something and I am stumped by the title. I frequently miss the obvious though :-)

Darn! I wanted to be the first brilliant mind to guess that it's a spool of thread. Of well, I guess I'll have to settle for mediocre.

I'm confused. My first thought was "hanging by a thread", but I couldn't think of many things that "hang" since you said it related to the title. Then Lauren said "kite string", but do kites "hang" in the air. I don't know. I actually have a hard time keeping a kite in the air! called "Hanging By A Thread" and I LOVE that song! LOL It actually looks like quilting thread and sometimes you make quilts to "hang". How is that crazy thought process? I LOVE THIS GAME! LOL Do you want to play Scrabble or Sorry or Backgammon? Can everyone come over to play? LOL
